Iran's Military Calls on Regional States to Expel American Soldiers or Face Consequences
Iran's military issued a stark warning to the United States and its allies in West Asia which hosts Washington's bases and forces, urged the regional countries to get rid of American troops or face Tehran's devastating attacks.
Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari on Saturday threatened crushing and decisive attacks on American and Israeli assets as well as the infrastructure of countries that continue to host US military bases.
The warning comes in direct response to recent threats by US President Donald Trump to continue targeting Iran’s civilian infrastructure, like bridges, power plants, and electricity and energy facilities.
The Iranian military command warned that if Trump's threats are carried out, Iran's Armed Forces will respond with overwhelming force."In response to the US President's inflammatory rhetoric and his repeated threats regarding the destruction of bridges, power plants, and Iran's electricity and energy infrastructure, we warn once again," the spokesperson asserted.Zolfaghari warned that Iran's armed forces would, in addition to striking all assets of the Zionist regime and the US, target "more important and extensive sectors of their capital – as well as those of the host countries and allies of the US and the Zionist regime".According to the statement, these attacks would focus on fuel, energy, economic centers, and power plants across the region and the occupied territories, and would be "more severe and crushing than ever before".In a pointed message directed at regional countries that continue to host US military bases, the Iranian command delivered an ultimatum."The countries hosting US military bases in the region must force the Americans to withdraw from their territory if they do not wish to be harmed," he emphasized.
