Tehran Hosts Memorial Ceremony for Iran's Martyred Leader
A memorial ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei was held on Tuesday evening at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla, attended by people from across the capital alongside government officials and public figures.
The gathering brought together mourners from different walks of life, as well as senior officials, for prayers and commemorative programs honoring Ayatollah Khamenei.
Ayatollah Khamenei was martyred on February 28 in a US-Israeli strike on Iran. His funeral ceremonies spanned several days, beginning with public farewell gatherings and processions in Tehran before continuing in Qom and the Iraqi holy cities of Najaf and Karbala. The ceremonies concluded with his burial at the Imam Reza (AS) Shrine in the holy city of Mashhad.
