Iran Foreign Ministry: Justice for US-Israeli Criminals to Remain Lasting Demand
Iran's Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued on the occasion of the farewell ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution that the Iranian nation, the Islamic Ummah, and all truth-seeking and freedom-loving people will continue to pursue justice for the American-Zionist criminals as a permanent demand.
The statement stressed that Iran's foreign policy officials will always uphold the martyred Leader's guiding recommendations on safeguarding the nation's dignity, independence, and strength, while remaining vigilant against the plots of the country's enemies.It added that the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution's steadfastness and unwavering commitment to the path of truth, justice, and humanity have not only guaranteed the dignity and strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran but have also inspired nations and freedom-loving people around the world.The statement further said that the meaningful participation of various religious and national groups from across the region, along with high-level delegations from around the world, in the farewell ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution is clear evidence of the dignity and greatness of both the martyred Leader and the noble Iranian nation.Iran's Foreign Ministry also expressed its appreciation to all foreign guests who, despite pressure and threats, attended the farewell ceremony for the martyred Leader, saying they had stood on the right side of history and paid tribute to truth and justice.
According to the statement, "The martyrdom of our great Leader is not the end of the road, but the beginning of a new chapter in the advancement of Islam and beloved Iran. Relying on Almighty God, drawing strength from its rich national and Islamic heritage, and under the wise leadership of the Leader of the Revolution, the freedom-loving Iranian nation will honor the name and legacy of the martyred leader with all its strength and continue his honorable and dignified path."Millions of Iranians attended the farewell ceremony on Saturday for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei in Tehran. Following funeral processions in Tehran, Qom, and the holy cities of Iraq, the martyred Leader is scheduled to be laid to rest in Mashhad.
