Iran: US, European Support Enables Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians
The spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry blamed the continued comprehensive support of the United States and certain European countries — particularly Germany and the United Kingdom — for enabling the ongoing genocide against Palestinians by the Zionist regime.
Esmail Baqaei said the Israeli regime’s impunity has allowed its crimes to persist unchecked. He also criticized the inaction of the United Nations and other international bodies in the face of the regime’s colonial and expansionist policies.The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned the recent decision by the Israeli regime’s political and security cabinet to seize additional Palestinian land in the West Bank. He said the move is aimed at expanding illegal settlements, entrenching the occupation, and tightening security control over the occupied territory, while the genocide in the Gaza Strip continues.Referring to the ongoing killing of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as grave violations of human rights and international humanitarian law — including the continued unlawful detention and severe torture of Palestinian prisoners — Baqaei described these acts as part of a broader policy of genocide and the colonial eradication of Palestine.He emphasized the shared responsibility of all governments to act in order to halt the genocide against the Palestinian people and prevent the escalating confiscation of their lands.
Baqaei reaffirmed the principled position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to self-determination, liberation from occupation, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
