Senior IRGC Commander: Iran’s Missile Range to Be Extended as Far as Necessary
A senior commander from the IRGC’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters dismissed European calls to limit Iran’s missile capabilities, emphasizing that the range of Iranian missiles will be increased to reach any point deemed necessary.
Brigadier General Asadi, deputy inspector of the headquarters, told Fars News Agency that Iranian forces are “fully prepared.” He added, “We are 100% ready. We do not seek war, but if anyone dares to attack our country, we will deliver a decisive response.”Responding to European claims that Iran should restrict its missile range, Asadi strongly rejected such demands, saying, “They are completely wrong to make such statements.”He further noted that past experience has shown the decisive role of the Islamic Republic’s missile deterrence power — including during the recent 12-day conflict — in confronting enemies.
