Commander: IRGC Navy Produces Missile-Launching Vessels with Speed of 215 km/h
The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced the production of missile-launching vessels in the IRGC Navy with a speed of 116 knots (215 km/h).
Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, speaking on Wednesday at a ceremony commemorating National Persian Gulf Day, stated that the vessels produced by the IRGC Navy have successfully passed all technical and specialized tests.He added that the IRGC Navy has achieved self-sufficiency in the production of vessels, missiles, drones, and submarines.Admiral Tangsiri highlighted the capabilities of the IRGC Navy, noting: "Before the Islamic Revolution, Iran could not even build a small fishing boat. But today, we have built the 'Martyr Soleimani' vessel with the most advanced technology, capable of sailing 5,000 nautical miles nonstop."The IRGC Navy commander also emphasized the force’s round-the-clock efforts to ensure security in the Persian Gulf.
