Iran-Made Research Satellite Successfully Put into Orbit

The Iran-made research satellite dubbed Chamran-1 was launched and successfully put into orbit by Iranian experts.
The launching was carried out on Saturday morning by the Indigenous satellite carrier Qaem-100. The Chamran-1 has been designed and manufactured by Iran Electronics Industries (Sairan) with the cooperation of Iranian knowledge-based companies. The satellite weights around 60 kilograms, with its main mission being to test hardware and software systems for the demonstration of orbital maneuver technology in altitude and phase. The carrier Qaem-100 using solid fuel has been designed and manufactured by the Aerospace Division of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC). This is the carrier's second successful mission.
