Iran Warns Israeli Regime against Attacking Lebanon

Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri Kani warned the Zionist regime against a possible attack on Lebanon, saying its ramifications could backfire against the Zionists.
Baqeri Kani made the remarks in a press conference following a meeting with Iraqi National Security Adviser Qassem al-Araji on Thursday in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. Baqeri Kani added any attack against Lebanon could be a one-way ticket to *. The Israeli regime suffered heavy defeats in battles with the Lebanese nation in 2000 and 2006, the official added. Also referring to the Israeli regime's recent attack on Iran's consulate in the Syrian capital, Damascus, the top diplomat said that Zionists made a mistake by attacking the Iranian embassy compound and received a crushing response. He called for coordinated measures on the part of the Muslim states in the face of the Israeli regime's genocide against Gaza that has so far led to the martyrdom of more than 37,000 Palestinians since early October 2023. Baqeri Kani also held a meeting with the former Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki who is also the head of the State of Law Coalition. He travelled to the Iraqi Kurdistan region on Friday. Earlier on Thursday, Baqeri Kani held separate meetings with the Iraqi prime minister, president, foreign minister and the head of the supreme judicial council.
