Iran Warns UAE Against Abetting Israel
Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi warned that enmity with Iran is "a foolish gamble", describing collusion with the Zionist regime against Tehran as "unforgivable".
"[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu has now publicly revealed what Iran's security services long ago conveyed to our leadership," Araqchi wrote on X on Thursday.
The ranking diplomat was reacting to the United Arab Emirates' rolling out the red carpet for Netanyahu to visit the Persian Gulf state amid American-Israeli onslaught targeting Iran.Iranian authorities have repeatedly warned that the UAE has been playing an active role in the onslaught by hosting US and Israeli military forces on its territory, providing intelligence on Iranian individuals and targets, and making its airbases available to the US for attacks against Iran.During 40 days of joint US-Israeli aggression against Iran, the two adversaries used the territories of several Persian Gulf states, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan, to launch air raids against Iranian territory.In response, Iranian Armed Forces carried out more than 100 waves of missile and drone strikes targeting strategic American and Israeli positions across those states as well as throughout the occupied territories.Tehran has consistently warned that any country facilitating assault against Iran will be held directly responsible.
"Enmity with the Great People of Iran is a foolish gamble. Collusion with Israel in doing so: unforgivable," the foreign minister said."Those colluding with Israel to sow division will be held to account," he added.
