IRGC Pledges Ironclad Support for Resistance

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) reaffirmed its ironclad support for the Resistance Front in their battle against Israel.
The IRGC issued a statement marking the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Hezbollah leaders and senior IRGC commander General Abbas Nilforoushan in an Israeli attack in Lebanon. It reiterated its unwavering support for the Resistance front, vowing to continue the struggle until the liberation of holy Al-Quds.The IRGC stressed that security and dignity in the Islamic world are rooted in the sacrifices of resistance fighters, not in compromise with the enemies of Islam.
The statement highlighted seven key points:1. Security through sacrifice: The safety and honor of Muslim nations have been secured by the sacrifices of resistance fighters, not by political compromises.2. Resistance as the only rational option: Historical experience shows that resistance is the sole effective strategy against the US and Zionist expansionism.3. Indestructibility of the resistance culture: Despite intensified Israeli crimes, the resistance has proven resilient, growing deeper as a cultural and ideological force in the region.4. Martyred leaders as disciples of the Revolution: Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyed Hashem Safieddine were described as exemplary students of Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei, who turned the resistance into a symbol of Islamic dignity and strategic power.
5. Support for Sheikh Naim Qassem: The IRGC voiced full support for Sheikh Qassem’s leadership of Hezbollah following the martyrdom of its senior leaders.6. Failure of US-Israeli plots: Repeated attempts to weaken or eliminate the resistance have ended in humiliation for the enemy, while the resistance has emerged stronger.7. IRGC’s enduring mission: The IRGC reaffirmed that supporting the resistance across the region remains a divine and national duty, and will continue until the complete liberation of Palestine. The IRGC finally emphasized that the martyrdom of resistance leaders marks a turning point in Islamic awakening and anti-Zionist struggle, calling on all nations of the region to remain vigilant and united. “The future of the region belongs to its people’s will, and their will is anchored in the defeat of enemies and the definite victory of the resistance,” the statement concluded.
In early October 2024, Iran fired about 200 ballistic missiles towards Israel’s military, espionage and intelligence bases all over the occupied territories, in response to the Tel Aviv regime’s deadly assault in West Asia. The aggression that prompted the retaliation had, among other things, led to the martyrdom of the resistance leaders and the ranking Iranian military official. The IRGC announced in a statement that 90 percent of the Iranian missiles fired at Israel have successfully hit the targets, including the “strategic centers” in the occupied territories.Back in April too, the country had fired more than 300 missiles and drones against the territories in an operation codenamed True Promise in reprisal for deadly raid by the regime against Iranian diplomatic facilities in the Syrian capital of Damascus.
