IRGC Chief Warns of Unimaginable Response to Israel's Attack

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami announced that Israel had failed to achieve its ominous goals with its recent attack against Iranian military facilities, warning the Zionist regime that the bitter consequences of its actions would be unimaginable.
“Israel has reached the stage of downfall and these days it acts blindly and without abiding to any rules it commits every crime,” Maj. Gen. Salami said on Thursday.Referring to the Tel Aviv regime's assault against Iran, the IRGC chief stressed that Israel had committed a miscalculation, and the Zionists did not understand the power of the Islamic Republic and determination of the Iranian nation. He warned of an “unimaginable” response to the Zionist regime's act of aggression against his country.Maj. Gen. Salami also reminded the Zionist regime of Tehran's retaliatory military operation in early October, stating that Israel’s much-hyped Iron Dome failed to intercept ballistic missiles fired from Iran toward the occupied territories.Addressing the Zionists, the military official added, "You don't even have a place to run."
The Israeli Army targeted military centers in the Iranian provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam in the early hours of Saturday despite warnings from Tehran that any adventurism by the Zionist regime would face a harsh response.Iran announced its air defense system intercepted and countered the attacks, with limited damage reported in some areas. At least five, including four Iranian Army's servicemen as well as a civilian, have been martyred in Israel's attacks against the country.
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has stressed that the Zionist regime’s miscalculation should be thwarted, and the Israelis need to understand the power, determination and innovation of the Iranian nation. He emphasized that Israel’s evil act should “neither be exaggerated nor downplayed".Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has also stated that Tehran is not seeking war but will give an appropriate response to Israel's latest assault.“We do not seek war, but we will defend the rights of our nation and country. We will give an appropriate response to the aggression of the Zionist regime,” Pezeshkian said.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry has also condemned the Israeli assault against the country’s military installations as a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, especially the principle that prohibits threats or use of force against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries. It also defended Tehran’s right “to defend itself against external aggressive moves”.
