Source: American Media Claims Denied; Draft Agreement Contains No Iranian Nuclear Commitments

Some American media outlets and officials have claimed in recent days that Iran has accepted commitments in a potential agreement with Washington, such as reducing nuclear stockpiles, removing equipment, or shutting down certain facilities—claims that an examination of the final draft agreement reveals to be false and baseless.
In response to these attempts to create confusion, informed sources from the negotiating process have emphasized that no clause concerning Iran's nuclear commitments has been included in the draft of the potential agreement between Iran and America, and that all matters related to the nuclear program have been deferred to the 60-day negotiations following the signing of the agreement. Accordingly, contrary to what some media outlets are trying to suggest, there is no commitment in this agreement for Iran to relinquish nuclear stockpiles, remove equipment, shut down facilities, or even commit to not building a nuclear bomb. Instead, the parties have agreed on the release of all or part of Iran's frozen funds in order to enter into negotiations. Furthermore, according to this draft, passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be restored to pre-war levels under Iran's management, concurrently with the lifting of the naval blockade. In addition, sanctions on oil, gas, petrochemicals, and their derivatives will be temporarily lifted during the negotiation period, allowing Iran to freely sell its products.
