Millions Rally Across Iran for Intl. Quds Day, Vowing Support for Palestine

The Quds Day rallies began across Iran on the morning of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, corresponding to March 13, 2026.
Every year, the International Quds Day marches are held with a massive and overwhelming presence of the Iranian nation in cities and villages nationwide. In 1979, Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared the last Friday of Ramadan as the official day of support for the Palestinian people. Since then, the Quds Day rallies have been held each year with a more passionate and multi-million-strong participation than before. This year marks the first time since the victory of the Islamic Revolution that Quds Day is being observed amid a direct conflict with the usurping Zionist regime. The fasting people of various Iranian provinces, mindful of regional developments and the warmongering of global arrogance, took to the streets Friday with a unified voice. With clenched fists, they voiced their anger and disgust towards the Zionists and global arrogance.According to officials, this year's Quds Day rallies are being held in nearly one thousand cities across Iran. The fasting nation of Iran, in unison with Muslims worldwide, will shake the enemies of Islam with their firm, resolute steps and the powerful resonance of their chants.
