Satellite Images Show Damage to US Air Assets, Support Facilities at Jordan Base After Iranian Strik
New satellite images show extensive damage to US military infrastructure at Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti Air Base (Al-Azraq), where Iranian strikes hit fighter support hangars, MQ-9 drone facilities, ground control stations and officers' quarters.
The imagery shows damage to multiple operational and support facilities at the base. The destruction of fighter support hangars can disrupt aircraft preparation and deployment cycles and reduce sortie generation rates in the short term.
Damage to MQ-9 drone facilities degrades the base's intelligence, surveillance and unmanned operations capability.
In addition to possible personnel losses, damage to officers' quarters disrupts command, coordination and operational planning at the base and requires personnel replacement and organizational restructuring.
