Satellite Images Show Damage to Fighter Hangars at US Base in Jordan
New satellite imagery shows that Iran's recent strike on a US military base in Jordan damaged fighter aircraft support hangars in addition to causing casualties during the attack.
The latest satellite images indicate that fighter preparation hangars at the US military facility were destroyed in the strike. The structures are used for pre-flight inspections, refueling, weapons loading, technical preparation, and minor maintenance of combat aircraft before missions.The US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed on Saturday that two US service members were killed, one remained missing, and several others were wounded following the Iranian strike.
