Iran’s Drone Carrier Warship Joins IRGC Navy in Persian Gulf
Iran’s Shahid Bagheri warship, designed to carry helicopters, missiles, and up to 60 UAVs alongside 30 missile-launching boats, officially joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) naval combat fleet during a ceremony held in the Persian Gulf. [MULTIMEDIA]
This warship supports helicopter missions, electronic warfare systems, and both offensive and defensive air defense operations. In addition to its UAV and helicopter capabilities, the vessel is armed with Noor surface-to-surface cruise missiles and features a separate platform for anti-ship missiles.

The operational range of these missiles varies between 750 and 2,000 kilometers, significantly enhancing the warship’s strike capability.
