5.0 Quake in Iran’s Khorasan Razavi Province Leaves 4 Dead, 120 Injured
An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 struck between Khalilabad and Kashmar in Iran’s Khorasan Razavi province, Northeastern Iran, at 1:24 PM local time, killing four people and injuring at least 120 others. [PHOTOS]
"Rescue teams were promptly dispatched to the site and have been carrying out necessary rescue operations," stated Hussein Zafari, spokesperson for the Disaster Management Organization of Iran.
