Iranian Army Says US Bases in Bahrain, Jordan Hit in New Wave of Drone Strikes
The Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced that US military bases in Bahrain and Jordan were targeted by one-way attack drones early Friday.
In a statement, the Army's Public Relations Office said that, as part of the continued drone strikes, Arash loitering drones targeted fuel storage facilities, warehouses and large equipment hangars, and troop accommodation areas at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain early Friday.According to the statement, the drone operation also struck aircraft shelters, aircraft maintenance hangars, and accommodation facilities used by terrorist US forces at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan.The Iranian Army further warned that any action taken against the legitimate and lawful interests of the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic of Iran would also jeopardize the security and economic interests of other countries in the region.
