Iran's Khatam Al-Anbiya HQ Announces Closure of Strait of Hormuz, Cites US Breach of Ceasefire

Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be closed to all vessel traffic, citing America's blatant bad faith and failure to implement the first clause of the post-war memorandum of understanding.
In a statement, the Central Headquarters said the closure of the Strait of Hormuz also comes in response to the Zionist regime's continuous and ongoing violations of the ceasefire in Southern Lebanon. The cessation of hostilities on all fronts—including Lebanon—was one of the clauses of the Islamabad Memorandum on halting the war between Iran and the United States. The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters also pointed to the brutal killing and displacement of hundreds of thousands of Lebanese civilians in Zionist regime attacks, as well as the failure of Zionist occupying forces to withdraw from Southern Lebanese territories. The Central Headquarters added that this is the first step in response to the enemy's breach of commitments, and that if aggression continues, subsequent measures have been planned and will be executed to compel the enemy to honor its obligations.
