However, an examination of the finalized text of the potential agreement shows that this claim is unfounded. Based on the explicit text of the agreement, if finalized, the United States and its allies undertake not to attack Iran or its allies under any circumstances. In return, Iran has also undertaken that it and its allies will not launch a preemptive military attack against the United States and its allies. Therefore, this media outlet's claim that this regime has been exempted from any commitment toward Iran contradicts the explicit provisions of the finalized agreement and is untrue.
