Informed Source: US Vessels Trapped in Southern Strait of Hormuz
According to an informed source, two US vessels have become trapped in the Southern part of the Strait of Hormuz, near the coast of Oman, and are unable to move forward or retreat.
The source told a reporter from Fars News Agency that two American commercial vessels are stuck in the Southern waters of the Strait of Hormuz. On Monday, the terrorist US Central Command (CENTCOM) claimed that two US-flagged commercial ships had passed through the Strait. Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) denied this claim hours later. Now, an informed source says the waters near the coast of Oman are rocky, and the vessels are unable to exit or return from this area.Geographically, the Southern side of the Strait of Hormuz, near the islands of Musandam and Al Khil, lacks the capacity to serve as a maritime corridor. Navigating vessels through the rocky, shallow Southern areas is highly risky. On Monday evening, oil facilities at the UAE's Port of Fujairah experienced a massive fire. An informed military source attributed this fire to an "adventure" by the US military as they attempted to create a passage for the illegal transit of ships through the prohibited waterways of the Strait of Hormuz.
