Top Commander: Iran Armed Forces Control Strait of Hormuz Security; Uncoordinated Passage Forbidden

The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, emphasized that the security of the Strait of Hormuz lies entirely with Iran's armed forces. Under any circumstances, any safe passage through the strait will only be possible in coordination with Iranian military forces.
In a statement, Major General Abdollahi stressed that Iran will maintain and powerfully manage the security of the Strait of Hormuz. He warned all commercial and tanker vessels to refrain from any attempt to transit without prior coordination with the armed forces stationed in the strait, or their safety could be jeopardized. He further cautioned that any foreign military force—particularly the aggressive US military—attempting to approach or enter the Strait of Hormuz will be attacked.Abdollahi also warned the supporters of "wicked America" to act prudently, lest they face irreparable regret, as any aggressive US move to disrupt the current situation would only complicate matters and endanger vessel safety in the region. He added that the resistant and courageous Iranian nation, along with the prepared and powerful armed forces, have repeatedly proven in practice that they will respond to any enemy threat or aggression—at any level and in any part of Iran—with a resounding and regret-inducing blow.
