Tehran’s UN Envoy: Six Arab Nations Complicit in US-Israeli Aggression Against Iran

Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations announced that Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Jordan have participated in the recent aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran, in response to a letter these countries sent to the UN and the Security Council.
Amir Saeed Iravani, Iran’s Permanent Representative to the UN, stated in a letter responding to the communication from Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Jordan to the UN and the Security Council that these nations have been complicit in the aggression against Iran by providing access to military bases located on their soil, from which airstrikes and missile attacks were launched against Iran.Emphasizing that Iran was not the initiator of the conflict, Iravani added that Iran has exercised its inherent and legitimate right to self-defense, as recognized under the UN Charter, in response to these acts of aggression. He further asserted that countries that participated in the aggression against Iran or allowed the use of their bases, airspace, territorial waters, or land for such attacks are responsible and must be held accountable.Iran’s envoy also noted that the Security Council’s failure to condemn the aggression and identify the aggressor has contributed to the continuation of such attacks.Iravani made clear that Iran demands Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Jordan assume responsibility for the full compensation of damages inflicted upon Iran.
