Iran’s Ceasefire Plan Includes Lifting of Sanctions, War Compensation, US Troop Withdrawal

An informed source told Fars News Agency that under Iran’s proposed 10-point plan, accepted as the basis for a ceasefire agreement, all primary, secondary, and UN sanctions against Iran would be lifted, and war-related damages to Iran would be compensated through the establishment of an investment and financial fund.
The source added that other provisions of the plan include: a complete halt to any aggression against Iran and allied resistance groups; the withdrawal of US combat forces from the region; a ban on any attacks from bases against Iran; and a limited daily passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz for a period of two weeks. The source further stated that Iran’s commitment not to develop nuclear weapons, US acceptance of Iran’s right to enrichment, negotiations on enrichment levels, Iran’s agreement to negotiate bilateral and multilateral peace treaties with regional countries, and non-aggression against all resistance groups are also among the plan’s provisions.According to the source, the termination of all resolutions by the IAEA Board of Governors and the UN Security Council against Iran is another part of this proposal.
