Source: US Aircraft Carrier Abraham Lincoln Withdraws from Persian Gulf, Redeploys to Yemen Waters

A military source in Iran has reported the withdrawal of the US Navy’s Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group from the Persian Gulf to waters South of Yemen.
The informed source in the field of military intelligence told Fars News Agency that the Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group, along with several accompanying destroyers and submarines, is now deployed near the Gulf of Aden and East of the island of Socotra, off Southern Yemen. According to the source, the strike group is located at a distance of approximately 1,400 kilometers from the port of Chabahar in Southeastern Iran.In recent days, the Islamic Republic of Iran has warned that any US attacks on Iran would expose West Asia to a very serious risk of regional war and confront the world with oil prices exceeding $150 per barrel.Meanwhile, Major General Mousavi, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, officially announced on Monday that Iran’s military doctrine has shifted to an offensive posture.
