Iran Armed Forces: Any New Enemy Miscalculation to Be Met with Harsher, More Damaging Blows
The General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces has stressed that the country’s armed forces, with full readiness and authority, will not allow any harm to be inflicted on the nation or the security of its people.
In a statement, the General Staff warned that should the enemies commit another miscalculation, they will face strikes far stronger, more forceful, and more damaging than in the previous instance. The statement described the ninth of Dey (December 30) as an epic born of the will of the valiant Iranian nation.During the massive rallies of the ninth of Dey in 2009, the Iranian people, through conscious and resolute participation and by renewing their allegiance to the ideals of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to the Supreme Leader, created an enduring and unforgettable epic in the history of the Islamic Revolution. The rallies were held in response to opponents of the results of the 2009 presidential election and the ensuing sedition.The General Staff added that the system of domination and global arrogance led by the United States, along with enemies of the Islamic system, took advantage of an opportunity provided by a number of self-serving domestic elements and others acting out of ignorance to ignite the sedition of 2009.The statement further said that the enemies’ repeated, baseless rhetoric, along with their recent propaganda threats, media campaigns, psychological operations, and malicious plans involving unjust sanctions and the launching of psychological, propaganda, and economic warfare against the Islamic Republic of Iran, will undoubtedly lead nowhere.
The General Staff reassured the Iranian nation that Iran’s armed forces, with full readiness and authority, will not allow any harm to be inflicted on the country or the security of its people, and that any renewed miscalculation by the enemies at any time or place will be met with strikes far stronger, more forceful, and more damaging than before.
