Documents Reveal MEK Terrorists Collaboration with Zionist Regime During 12-Day War
At the trial session of the terrorist group Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), it was revealed that the group, through a targeted phone call with a local resident near Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah, Western Iran, had obtained the peak visiting hours of the medical center and passed the information to the Zionist regime in order to facilitate an attack on the hospital.
The 36th session of the court reviewing the charges against 104 members of the MEK, also known as “Monafeqin,” was held on Tuesday morning in Tehran, presided over by Judge Hojjatoleslam Amir-Reza Dehqani. The session, held publicly, was attended by court advisors Morteza Tork and Amin Naseri, prosecutor’s representative Vaziri, families of terror victims, and lawyers from both sides.Later, Hojjatoleslam Masoud Maddah, lawyer for the plaintiffs stated that infiltration by terrorist groups is a common practice internationally. He noted that such groups engage in espionage to obtain classified information and sensitive documents, which often serves as a prelude to operations such as assassinations, threats, and identification of key figures within governments.Referring to the MEK’s history, Maddah added: “The primary crime committed by this group is cooperation with hostile states. Terrorist groups, with the support of intelligence services from certain countries, carry out their activities within targeted nations.”Maddah emphasized the MEK’s record of collaboration with Iran’s enemies: “The group’s cooperation with hostile governments is undeniable. At one time, they closely collaborated with the Ba’athist regime of Iraq, and today they maintain strong ties with the Zionist regime, notorious as a child-killing entity.”
He added that the organization’s main strategy has been to align with Iran’s enemies to advance its objectives, receiving intelligence, financial, military, and arms support.Maddah further stated: “On behalf of the families of the martyred scientists assassinated by the Zionist regime, a complaint has been filed. The basis of this complaint is the MEK’s role in spying on Iran’s nuclear activities and transferring information to Israel and the United States.”He stressed that at every critical juncture, the MEK has acted in coordination with Iran’s enemies and has consistently stood against the Iranian nation. “Whenever a front has been formed against the Islamic Republic, this group has always been among its supporters.”
