President Pezeshkian: Iran to Make Enemy Regret Its Foolish Act
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that the Iranian people and officials will not remain silent in the face of the Zionist regime’s crime in attacking Iran, and that the legitimate and powerful response of the Islamic Republic of Iran will make the enemy regret its foolish act.
Masoud Pezeshkian, in reaction to the Zionist regime’s crime committed at dawn on Friday, stated today, more than ever, the Iranian nation needs unity and solidarity, and with such a valuable spirit, it will give a wise and strong response to the crime of the occupying regime.He said this brutal act, which violated all international obligations, confirms the criminal nature of the illegitimate Zionist regime—whose existence is based on occupation, aggression, and the killing of children.Pezeshkian added that the aggression proved to the world the truth of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s position that aggression and criminality are embedded in the very nature of the Zionist regime. He stressed that the Iranian people and the country’s officials will not remain silent in the face of this crime.He stated that just as the Islamic Republic has exerted all its efforts to promote peace and calm in the world and the region—and has proven its full readiness for prolonged dialogue and confidence-building in the pursuit of peace—it will now also act decisively in response to aggression and in legitimate defense of the country’s integrity.At dawn on Friday, June 13, following a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime on Tehran and several other cities, a number of military commanders, scientists, and civilians were martyred.
In response to this crime by the Zionist regime, the Supreme Leader, in a message to the Iranian nation, declared: “The regime must await severe punishment. The powerful hand of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces will not let it go.”
