IRGC: Zionist Regime to Face Heavy Consequences for Strike on Iran
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned that the Zionist regime will face a heavy price for its recent military aggression against Iran.
In a statement issued on Friday morning, the IRGC's public relations department paid tribute to Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the IRGC, along with several other senior Iranian military commanders and scientists who were martyred in the Israeli attacks in the early hours of the day. The statement stressed that the criminal act of aggression, carried out with full knowledge and backing of the terrorist US regime, will not go unanswered, and the Zionist regime will pay dearly for it. The IRGC emphasized that the mission and legacy of Major General Salami will be carried forward without interruption by the IRGC. It added that Iran’s sworn enemies have made a grave miscalculation, which will not remain without response. The Israeli regime, the statement warned, should prepare itself for Iran’s decisive retaliation. Those martyred in the Israeli strikes include Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces; Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the IRGC; Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters; and two leading nuclear scientists, Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi and Fereydoon Abbasi. Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei also issued a stern warning to the Zionist regime, saying, “With this crime, the Zionist regime has prepared for itself a bitter, painful fate, which it will definitely see.”
