Report: Iran's Oil Production Increased in February

The latest OPEC figures show that Iran's oil production rose to 3 million and 308 thousand barrels per day in February.
In February, the same month US President Donald Trump announced the activation of the so-called maximum pressure policy against Iran and decided to reduce Iran's oil exports to zero, production increased by 34 thousand barrels per day, according to the latest OPEC data.The average oil production in Iran for 2024, during which Washington intensified oil sanctions against individuals, entities, and the overall oil transport network of Iran, has increased by 373 thousand barrels per day, reaching 3 million and 257 thousand barrels.According to this report, Iran produced 3 million and 273 thousand barrels of oil daily in January. Iran remains the third-largest oil producer in OPEC after Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Since August 2023, Iran has held the third position in OPEC oil production, surpassing the UAE, and has maintained this position ever since.
