IRGC Chief Commander Emphasizes Enhancement of Its Military, Deterrent Capabilities
The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, stressed the military power of the IRGC, stating that its missiles are capable of hitting all enemy targets in the region, and this power forms the basis of Iran's deterrence.
In remarks on Tuesday at the 14th Malek Ashtar Festival of the IRGC, Major General Salami spoke about the IRGC's top achievements in various fields, stating that the IRGC today has not changed in faith and insight since its establishment in 1979, but it has become more advanced and modern in terms of weaponry.Highlighting the IRGC's missile capabilities, Major General Salami emphasized that the IRGC's missiles can target all enemy positions.Major General Salami attributed all of the IRGC's successes to the competence of the Leadership of Iran, stating that the Supreme Leader guides us against enemies with strategies based on wisdom and thought, and does not allow us to be satisfied with the current situation.In another part of his remarks, he referred to developments in Syria, stating that although enemies have achieved results in Syria, the situation will not remain the same.
