Iranian Missile "Kowsar 222" Unveiled During IRGC Drills
The Navy of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) unveiled a new domestically produced missile.
The Kowsar 222 missile was unveiled and made operational during the 19th Great Prophet (PBUH) Naval Exercise in the waters of the Persian Gulf.This missile successfully destroyed hypothetical enemy flying objects during the 19th Great Prophet (PBUH) Naval Exercise.The IRGC naval forces launched extensive exercises spanning the Southern Iranian provinces of Bushehr and Khuzestan’s littoral waters in the Persian Gulf on Friday. The Navy’s Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri said conveying the message of peace and friendship to neighboring countries and establishing security in international waterways are the main objectives of the exercise.
