Iran Says It Doesn’t Matter Who Wins US Presidential Vote
The spokesperson for the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, stated that for the Islamic Republic, it does not matter who the President of the United States is.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Mohajerani referred to the US presidential election, saying the choice of president does not have specific implications for Iran. She emphasized that both Iran and the US have established policies that are unlikely to change fundamentally.She reassured that the outcome of the US presidential election would not impact the livelihood of the Iranian people, adding that for Iran, it does not matter who holds power in the White House.Reports suggest that Donald Trump of the US Republican Party may emerge as the winner of the presidential election, with Trump himself already claiming victory in the vote.
