FM: US Provides Israel with Airspace to Attack Iran
Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi stated that the US has granted the Israeli regime access to airspace to carry out attacks on certain Iranian military sites, further demonstrating US complicity in the regime's actions.
Araqchi emphasized that it is a well-established fact that the Israeli regime is incapable of acting independently without US support. He noted that Washington has provided military assistance to Israel not only in its recent attacks on Iran but also in its crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.He reiterated that the Zionist regime has committed these crimes using weapons supplied by the United States.Araqchi added that the Islamic Republic sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General on Saturday night, formally registering the Israeli regime's aggression against Iranian territory.He called for an immediate meeting of the UN Security Council on the issue, though he added that, given the support of the US and certain other countries for Israel, Iran does not expect the international body to take meaningful action to de-escalate tensions or halt Israeli crimes.The top Iranian diplomat noted that Tehran is also pursuing the issue through other international organizations.
