10 Iranian Security Forces Martyred in Fighting with Terrorists in Sistan and Baluchestan
Ten Iranian security personnel were martyred in fighting with terrorists in the city of Taftan, located in Iran's Southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
An informed source told Fars News Agency that on Saturday, terrorists ambushed two patrols of law enforcement forces at the Goharkooh post in the city of Taftan.The source added that ten security personnel were martyred in the ensuing fighting. The patrols were returning to their base after providing services to the citizens when they were caught in the terrorists' ambush.Iran's Interior Minister, Eskandar Momeni, has ordered an investigation into the deadly incident.The terror group, calling itself Jaish Al-Adl, issued a statement, claiming responsibility for the deadly attack.
