IRGC Commander: Sinwar's Martyrdom to Further Ignite Fire of Anti-Zionist Resistance
Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), referred to martyr Yahya Sinwar, head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas – as a nightmare for the Zionists and emphasized that martyr Sinwar struck fear into the hearts of the usurping devils and their supporters.
In a message, Major General Salami expressed his congratulations and condolences to the Palestinian nation, particularly the fighters of Hamas and the Islamic Resistance Front, on the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, describing him as a legend in the fight against the criminal and brutal Zionist regime.Major General Salami added that the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar will further ignite the fire of anti-Zionist resistance, and in the near future, the usurpers of the sacred land of Palestine will be reduced to ashes.He further noted that Sinwar’s 23 years of imprisonment in Israeli jails, his steadfastness, and his sacrifices in the fight against the Zionists, along with his continued organization of the resistance, transformed Hamas into a powerful organization and made Sinwar a symbol of the anti-Zionist struggle and resistance in the Islamic world and the Arab world.General Salami also mentioned that Sinwar's successful leadership at both strategic and operational levels, particularly in orchestrating the historic "Al-Aqsa Storm" operation against the Zionist regime, shattered the security and intelligence dominance of the Zionist regime and plunged the Zionist society into a disastrous strategic confusion.
The IRGC Commander emphasized that Hamas, with the support of the resilient and oppressed Palestinian people and the backing of the resistance axis, which has now evolved into a "grand resistance front," has placed the fragile existence of the US’s rabid dog in the region – the Zionist regime – under the feet of the faithful warriors of the Islamic nation. He stated that with Sinwar’s martyrdom, the engineering of the resistance battlefield remains in the hands of the Hamas fighters.
