Iran Warns Israel, UK Against Aiding US in War
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) warned the Israeli regime and Britain against abetting the United States in its war against Iran.
IRGC Spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi warned that continued London support for US B-1 bomber operations could make British airbases legitimate targets.“Recently, American B-1 bombers operated from British airbases. If they continue to cooperate, they will be considered our certain and legitimate targets. We have a specific scenario prepared for every situation," he added.
Bloomberg reported Wednesday that new British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has authorized the US to use certain bases for military operations against Iran.According to the outlet, the arrangement allows US forces to use the Diego Garcia military base in the Indian Ocean and RAF Fairford in England to support attacks against Iran.Tehran condemned London’s decision to let Washington use British bases and facilities for military onslaught against Iran, describing it as a violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.
Mohebi also said that Israel seeks to keep the United States engaged in the region by influencing President Donald Trump and providing misleading information, “using American power to advance its own goals.”“Israel knows what we would do to it if it returns to the war and we concentrate our efforts against it,” he added.
