IRGC Quds Force Chief Unveils New Security Belt of Resistance Axis
Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force Brigadier General Esmail Qa'ani announced the establishment of a new Axis of Resistance security belt stretching from the Strait of Hormuz to Bab Al-Mandeb and from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea.
Brigadier General Qa'ani on Monday praised the heroic and timely operations by Yemen, highlighting the growing wisdom, coordination, and strength of the Resistance Front in confronting Israeli and American provocations.“From the Strait of Hormuz to Bab Al-Mandeb and from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea, a new security belt of the Resistance will be established,” the Quds Force commander said in a statement.“The timely and powerful action by heroic Yemen is a sign of the wisdom of the Resistance Front. If necessary, others will also join,” he stated.
Yemen's Armed Forces on Monday declared a complete ban on Israeli maritime navigation in the Red Sea, stressing that Sana'a considers all enemy movements to be legitimate military targets.According to the Israeli Army, a missile was also fired from Yemen toward Central parts of the occupied territories.Yemen's Armed Forces sit on the shores of the Bab Al-Mandeb and in November 2023 began attacking Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea to show solidarity with Palestinians in the bombardment and besieged Gaza Strip.
“The mischief of the Zionist regime and America in this region will be met with the reaction of the united Resistance Front,” Qa'ani stressed.“Borderless fighters are watching over your chokepoints. If you continue your onslaught, they will seize you by the throat," he added.
