IRGC: American Air Base Hit in Response to US Hostile Action
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it carried out an aerial attack targeting an American air base which was the source of US strikes on Iranian targets early Thursday local time.

The IRGC issued a statement on Thursday, warning the United States that any onslaught against Iran will not go unanswered.
The warning was issued after US troops launched air strikes against the Southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas.Earlier, Fars news agency said three explosions were heard east of the Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas at about 1:30am local time (22:00 GMT).The air defence systems of Bandar Abbas were activated for a short time, it added.
Following the US military raid on a point on the outskirts of Bandar Abbas Airport with aerial projectiles, the IRGC conducted new attacks targeting the US air base from which the attack originated in the early hours of Thursday, the IRGC added in its statement.“This response is a serious warning to the enemy that they should know the act of aggression will not go unanswered,” the IRGC emphasized.The elite military force warned of “more decisive” responses if the enemy repeats any assault.It also stressed the responsibility for the consequences of any IRGC response lies with the aggressor.
