Terror Cell Disbanded in Western Iran

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) dismantled a terrorist group in Kordestan province, confiscating weapons, combat equipment and satellite communication devices.
“Mercenary and traitorous elements of separatist terrorist groups who were planning terrorist acts were struck in an operational blow,” the IRGC’s Hamzeh Seyed al-Shohada base said in a statement on Tuesday.During the operation, security forces seized Kalashnikov rifles, pistols, ammunition, hand grenades, forged identification documents and Starlink satellite communication devices.Four suspects were captured in the operation.
Since the onset of the US-Israeli war against Tehran, Iranian authorities have arrested dozens of individuals in several provinces across the country for “mercenary” activities.During the Zionist regime's war on Iran in June, the security agents have also detained several Mossad operatives in separate operations that also led to the confiscation of large amounts of explosives, remote controls and spying equipment. Moreover, several workshops producing suicide drones linked to the Israeli secret service have been discovered by Iranian intelligence agents across the country.Tehran has also set up a special headquarters tasked with identifying Mossad agents in Iran.A recently enhanced espionage law allows those accused of spying to face the death penalty and confiscation of property.
“The Hamzeh Seyed al-Shohada base warns treacherous terrorist agents that it is monitoring all movements of terrorist forces with full intelligence oversight, and any thought or action against the security of the Northwestern region will be met with a decisive and regretful response without leniency."
