IRGC: More Surprises for US, Israel Coming
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced Wednesday it is fully ready to deliver new achievements and surprises beyond the calculations and imagines of Washington and the Zionist regime, warning of crushing responses to any renewed onslaught.
The multiple forces and the popular Basij “are ready to create achievements and shocking events far beyond the comprehension and calculation of the warmongering and treacherous enemy, utilizing new cards on the battlefield", the IRGC said in a statement on Wednesday marking the anniversary of its establishment.The statement added that IRGC is at the peak of readiness and determination to continue the battle against the enemies and is “ready for decisive, certain, and immediate confrontation with any threat or repetition of enemy aggression.”“In a new round of possible military battle, we will inflict crushing blows beyond the enemy’s imagination on their remaining assets in the region,” the IRGC noted.
The United States and Israel unleashed a war on Iran in late February, assassinating Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and several military commanders and officials, and striking nuclear sites, civilian sites, schools, hospitals across the country.Iran’s Armed Forces responded with 100 waves of retaliatory operations under Operation True Promise 4, firing hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles, as well as drones, against American military bases across West Asia and Israeli positions throughout the occupied territories.Forty days into the war, a Pakistan-mediated two-week ceasefire went into effect but Washington-Tehran negotiations in Islamabad failed to reach an accord due to excessive demands and shifting goalposts by the American delegation.Washington is seeking to hold a meeting with Tehran in the Pakistani capital on the final day of a two-week ceasefire that halted a 40-day US-Israeli onslaught against Iran.However, Iran has yet to confirm its willingness to attend a second round of talks with the US, as authorities believe Washington is not serious and is trying to extract maximum concessions from Tehran.
Regarding the recent combined missile and drone operation, the IRGC stated the 100-wave system of combined missile and drone operations “inflicted fatal and devastating blows to their infrastructure, strategic centers, and support capabilities.”It led to a “cognitive vacuum” for the aggressive and invading front on the battlefield, and subsequently to miscalculations and their pleading for a ceasefire from mighty and proud Iran, it added.“Today, with the collapse of the hollow prestige of the military power of the United States and the Zionist regime, we are on the verge of entering a new regional order in West Asia — without the presence of foreign and arrogant powers, especially America — and creating a stable and secure environment,” it added.
