IRGC Warns US, Israel of Firm Response in Case of Ceasefire Breach
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) issued a stern warning to Washington and the Tel Aviv regime, stressing that any violation of the two-week ceasefire will trigger an immediate and firm response with full power.
The United States and Israel have already “experienced and witnessed that our hands are on the trigger", IRGC Aerospace Commander Brigadier General Seyed Majid Mousavi said in a post on X on Wednesday.“Should the enemy commit the slightest error, it will be met with a response in full power,” he added.
The US and Israel started a fresh round of aerial aggression on Iran in late February, some eight months after they carried out unprovoked assault on the country.The strikes led to the martyrdom of late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, and hundreds of people, including women and children, as well as military commanders.Iran began to swiftly and firmly retaliate against the raids by firing barrages of missiles and drone attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories as well as on US bases in regional countries.In the early hours of Wednesday, after 40 days of war, Iran and the United States agreed to a two-week ceasefire brokered by Pakistan and the resumption of negotiations based on Tehran's 10-point proposal.Tehran has warned that any entry of US-Israeli aircraft into Iranian airspace—even without military action—violates the ceasefire and will trigger a decisive and crushing response.
In a similar post on the social media platform, the commander of the IRGC’s Naval Forces also reiterated the warning, stressing that the aggressors witnessed earlier today how the armed forces were prepared to respond to any violation of the ceasefire.
