IRGC: Any Movement in Strait of Hormuz for US-Israeli Supporters Forbidden

The Navy of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) warned that traffic of any ship "to and from" ports of the allies of Washington and the Zionist regime from any corridor is forbidden.
"... Following the lies of the corrupt President of America [Donald Trump] regarding the openness of the Strait of Hormuz, three container ships of different nationalities moved toward the designated corridor for the transit of ships with permits, which were turned back with a warning from the IRGC Navy," it announced in a statement on Friday. The IRGC Navy announced that the Strait of Hormuz is "closed" and that any movement in this strait will be met with "a harsh response".
The Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly 20 percent of the world’s oil supply normally passes, has effectively been shut down since the US-Israeli onslaught against Iran in late February. Hundreds of ships have reportedly remained anchored nearby, while global shipping companies and oil exporters have paused operations due to security concerns.Oil prices are up nearly 50 percent compared with before the war, prompting numerous countries to implement fuel rationing and other energy conservation measures.Tehran has announced that tensions in the Strait of Hormuz are the direct result of the war waged by the US and the Israeli regime against Iran, stressing that the strategic waterway is only closed to vessels belonging to hostile parties and their backers. Iran’s National Defense Council also emphasized that the only way to pass through the Strait of Hormuz is for countries not involved in the war to coordinate with Tehran.
"The movement of any ship 'to and from' ports of the allies and supporters of the Zionist–American enemies to any destination and from any corridor is prohibited," the statement read.
