The well-informed source indicated on Thursday the possible use of depleted uranium by the Zionist regime in its recent air raids on sensitive sites in Iran Initial tests conducted at the impact sites have reportedly revealed traces suggestive of uranium presence. However, the source emphasized that definitive conclusions have yet to be drawn, and further technical analysis is currently underway.
Depleted Uranium (DU) is not considered nuclear weaponry, but it contains low levels of radiation, and its contamination may be related to the substantial rise in leukemia, renal, and anemia cases, especially among children.International organizations have repeatedly warned against the use of depleted uranium arms. The Zionist regime has in numerous occasions used banned white phosphorus as well as prohibited bombs containing depleted uranium against the people in Lebanon and the besieged and bombarded Gaza Strip during the recent years.
