Iran: Israel 'Biggest Enemy of Truth’

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei decried the Israeli attack on Iran’s broadcasting center in Tehran, describing the Zionist regime as "the biggest enemy of truth".
Writing on X on Monday, Baqaei called the Israeli attack a “wicked act of war crime”, labeling the Tel Aviv regime as “the biggest enemy of truth” and the “killer of journalists”.He called on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action and stop the “genocidal aggressor” from committing further atrocities.Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi also called Israel’s strike on the broadcaster, which martyred at least three employees, “the height of cowardice”.“The raid on our national broadcasting organization demonstrated the obvious desperation of the Israelis,” he said in an interview.“When they fail on the field of battle, they resort to targeting and striking a civilian center that only conveys the truth and informs,” the diplomat added.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the country’s national broadcaster, came under an Israeli attack on Monday afternoon local time.A loud explosion was heard as an anchor was presenting live on air, according to a live feed. Iran state TV resumes live coverage minutes after the blast.
In a statement issued shortly after the strike, IRIB President Peyman Jebelli condemned the raid and framed it as a sign of the strategic impact of Iran's media efforts on the global information battlefield.“This cowardly act is a clear acknowledgment of the Islamic Republic’s effective media operations against the strategic depth of the Zionist regime,” the statement read.He emphasized that such an act of aggression would only strengthen the resolve of IRIB’s personnel.
