Iran Vows More Powerful Response to Israel

President Masoud Pezeshkian warned Israel that Iran's Armed‌ Forces will deliver more crushing response to the Zionist regime if the latter carries out more onslaught against Tehran.
"Those who claim to defend human rights not only support the Zionist regime’s aggression but also embolden it to carry out these inhumane acts by providing [Israel with] weapons and equipment," Pezeshkian said in a phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday. He added that Israel, backed by the United States and Western countries, violates all international regulations. He pointed to Iran’s successful retaliatory military operation against the occupied territories and reiterated Tehran’s ability to defend itself.
"If the Islamic Republic were not able to defend itself in the face of this criminal and child-killing regime, it would witness daily assault against its land and the massacre of its people and scientists,” the president said.“However, the Islamic Republic has mightily succeeded in shooting down some equipment used by the Zionist regime, which was said to be radar-evading and unbeatable,” he added.Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran has always sought to promote peace in the region and across the world, but the latest Israeli assault proved that the country will face such attacks by a “criminal and murderous” regime if Tehran lacks strong defensive power. The president stated the US support for the Israeli regime in its aggression against Iran’s territory amid indirect nuclear negotiations indicated that Washington is not honest and cannot be trusted.
The Pakistani prime minister, for his part, expressed his country’s unwavering solidarity with the brotherly people of Iran in the face of Israel’s unprovoked onslaught.Sharif strongly condemned the violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which was an affront to international law and the United Nations Charter. He reiterated that Iran has every right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, and expressed hope that peace and tranquility would be restored to the region. The Pakistani premier expressed regret that the Zionist regime commits all its actions in violation of the UN Charter and international law with impunity.IRGC Asserts Israel Failed to Counter Iran's Missiles
Israel launched a wave of military aggression on various civilian and military areas and residential neighborhoods in the capital, Tehran, and other major cities. The barbaric assault claimed dozens of lives, including civilians, top military officials and commanders as well as nuclear scientists.Less than 24 hours after the Israeli onslaught, Iran launched its retaliatory operation – dubbed Operation True Promise III -- by firing a barrage of missiles towards the occupied Palestinian territories.Iran has already launched hundreds of missiles on the Israeli-occupied territories as part of two retaliatory military operations, dubbed Operation True Promise 1 and 2.In early October, Iran fired about 200 ballistic missiles towards Israel’s military, espionage and intelligence bases all over the occupied territories, in response to the Tel Aviv regime’s deadly assault in West Asia. The aggression that prompted the retaliation had, among other things, led to the martyrdom of the resistance leaders and a ranking Iranian military official. The IRGC announced in a statement that 90 percent of the Iranian missiles fired at Israel have successfully hit the targets, including the “strategic centers” in the occupied territories.Back in April too, the country had fired more than 300 missiles and drones against the territories in an operation codenamed True Promise in reprisal for deadly raid by the regime against Iranian diplomatic facilities in the Syrian capital of Damascus.
