DM: Iran Successfully Tests Missile with 2-Ton Warhead
Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh praised the country's brilliant achievements in the military field, declaring that Tehran has successfully tested a missile with a warhead weighing two tons.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a weekly cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Brig. Gen. Nasirzadeh emphasized Iran's growing military power, citing last week's successful test of a ballistic missile carrying a two-ton warhead.
Iran's Armed Forces, including the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), have been continuously enhancing their military hardware and combat preparedness in line with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s directives.Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made substantial headway in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the weaponry sphere.Iranian officials have repeatedly stressed that the country will not hesitate to enhance its military capacities, including its missile and drone power, which are entirely meant for defense, and that Iran’s defense capacities will never be subject to negotiation.
