Top Commander: Arash-2 Drone Stands at Cutting Edge of Technology of Iran's Army
Iran’s Army Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Kiumars Heidari praised the country's brilliant achievements in the defense industy, and stated a domesticlly-developed drone, dubbed "Arash 2", is capable of wiping out all threats within 2,000km range.
Brig. Gen. Heidari said on Monday the Arash-2 is one of the leading long-range drones with high precision and pinpoint accuracy.The suicide drone is a radar-evading research unmanned aerial vehicle with a high destructive capability, he added.
Iran's Armed Forces have been continuously boosting their military hardware and combat readiness in line with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s directives.Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made substantial headway in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the weaponry sphere.Iranian officials have repeatedly stressed that the country will not hesitate to enhance its military capacities, including its missile and drone power, which are entirely meant for defense, and that Iran’s defense capabilities will never be subject to negotiation.Iranian military officials say the advanced Arash-2 drone, which is a newer version of the previously unveiled Arash-1 aircraft, has been designed to target the coastal cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa in the Israeli-occupied territories in case of a military confrontation with the Zionist regime.The drone enjoys unique specifications and capabilities, and can successfully retrieve information multiple times before it strikes and destroys the designated target.Iranian military officials praised Tehran’s outstanding UAV power, stressing the country is among the world's top three drone powers.Domestically-developed Iranian military products have also found many clients in the world.High-Ranking Commander: Over 90% of Iran's Military Equipment Manufactured Locally
