Iran Resumes Flights Suspended Following Israel's Attack
Tehran on Saturday morning resumed its flights, ending the suspension that was enforced following the Zionist regime's attacks against three Iranian provinces on Friday night.
The Civil Aviation Organisation (CAO) announced flights have now returned to normal across Iran after a brief suspension over Israel's airstrikes.CAO Spokesperson Jafar Yazarlou told state media that flights would resume from 9 a.m. local time (05:30 GMT), coming shortly after the Israeli military confirmed that its overnight raids on Iran had concluded.Neither Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran nor other airports were subjected to any attacks.But Iran cancelled all commercial flights to and from the country following the Zionist regime's aerial attack due to security concerns.IRGC Chief Advises Israel Not to Rely on THAAD
Iran’s Air Defense Unit has confirmed Israeli attacks targeting several positions in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces, saying the aggression was successfully thwarted. “Despite the previous warnings of the officials of the Islamic Republic to the criminal and illegal Zionist regime to avoid any adventurous action, this fake regime attacked parts of military centers in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam this morning in a tension-causing action,” the air defense force announced in a statement on Saturday morning.The country's integrated air defense system successfully intercepted and countered the act of aggression, it noted.The assault caused limited damage in some locations and the dimensions of the incident are under investigation, the statement added.Iran’s state media broadcast videos and images of peaceful streets across the country on Saturday morning. According to reports, cities across the country, including the capital Tehran, remained calm and normal.
