The Eternal Leader

A farewell as vast as an Ummah, from Tehran to Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and Mashhad—and across the globe on the hands of billions, were it not for the world's barriers.
Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (May God's mercy be upon him), the martyred Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was not merely a religious authority or a politician; he was the embodiment of resistance, dignity, and national unity. His life, from his revolutionary struggles in his youth to his thirty-six years of wise leadership, was an unceasing effort for the honor and progress of Iran and the Muslims of the world. Under his leadership, Iran achieved great heights in science, technology, defense, political stability, and comprehensive progress across various dimensions of an Islamic civilization—heights that were previously unimaginable. He united the Muslims of the world and enhanced their honor and authority.
Yet the secret to his unparalleled popularity cannot be reduced to political achievements alone. The people of Iran knew him for his humility, warmth, and constant presence among them. From the alleys of southern Tehran to university campuses and scientific institutions, he was always with the people, sharing in their joys and sorrows. This deep emotional bond is what moved millions to pour into the streets of Tehran after his martyrdom—with initial estimates indicating the presence of nearly twenty million mourners in the capital alone. A funeral procession of this scale is unprecedented not only in Iran's history but in the history of the world.
This grand ceremony, coinciding with the mourning days of Muharram and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), will be attended by delegations from more than one hundred countries around the world. The funeral of his sacred remains, attended by various political figures from all over the world, testifies to the strength and resilience of the Islamic Republic of Iran – a system that emerged victorious from a harsh, imposed war by the United States, NATO, and Israel, and in which the collaboration of regional countries with the enemies had no effect on the Iranians' steel-willed resolve.
Following the procession in Tehran, his sacred remains will be carried in funeral processions in the holy cities of Qom, Najaf, and Karbala, before finally being laid to rest in Mashhad, beside the shrine of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (peace be upon him).
The funeral of his sacred remains in the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf reflects his place in the hearts of Muslims worldwide—so much so that had security restrictions not prevented it, this beloved body would have been carried in funeral processions across all Islamic lands, from Kashmir to Bayt al-Muqaddas and West Africa. This magnificent movement carries a clear message to the world: the school of resistance and the quest for independence are deeply rooted in the historical and religious beliefs of Muslims.
The martyred Leader bequeathed a precious legacy to Iran, Muslims, and freedom-seekers worldwide: insight, independence, scientific pursuit, and dignity. The path he charted will forever remain a guiding light for the builders of this nation's future, and his name will be eternally etched in the history of this people and the world.
His martyrdom, during which members of his family were also martyred alongside him in his own home, has once again exposed the true nature of the criminal United States and the child-killing Israeli regime.
Muslims and freedom-seekers around the world stand united and resolute in their determination to avenge his death.#Khamenei#EternalLeader#MartyrdomOfTheLeader#ResistanceAndUnity#IslamicAwakening#RevengeForTheLeader
